Health and Wellness Expo at Hennepin Technical College, Tuesday, April
21, 2009
On behalf of the
Champlin Women of Today, I would
like to invite you and your organization to participate in the Health and
Wellness Expo that will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 from 10:00 AM to
2:00 PM at Hennepin Technical College Brooklyn Park Campus.
The campus is located at 9000 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park.
An initiative of the Women of Today is
Women's Wellness and is focused on
providing and supporting women's health education through traditional and
holistic medical practices, as well as balanced lifestyles.
The purpose of this event is to bring together professional resources to
provide information and education to the community in the area of health and
wellness.
The Expo will be open to
the public including the several hundred students, faculty and staff in the
college. There is no charge for the
public to attend. The Memorial
Blood Centers Bloodmobile will be on campus from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
To be an exhibitor at the Expo, please complete
the enclosed application. The cost
is $50. Proceeds from the Expo will
be donated for scholarships for students enrolled in health programs at Hennepin
Technical College: Practical
Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Health Unit Coordinator.
The Expo will be promoted
in the Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine
online, local television stations and newspapers, and the Hennepin Technical
College website.
This is an excellent
opportunity to help inform the community about critical health issues and to
network with others interested in promoting health and wellness.
